Judge forces Michael Jordan to get a paternity test, mother claims son is distraught over denials

There was a time when Michael Jordan was the king of the courts, but he is certainly not the king of the court of law. Jordan is claiming that he isn’t the father of a 16-year old boy whose mother says that she was impregnated by the player back in the 1990s. The Atlanta woman has taken Jordan to court and convinced the judge to make Michael prove that he’s not the dad.

Pamela Smith filed the paternity suit last month. Jordan is currently engaged to Yvette Prieto, a Cuban model, and filed a counter claim against the woman. Jordan’s legal team claims that the woman is making false claims in order to extort money and damage his reputation.

“It is unfortunate that well known figures are the target of these kind of claims,” Jordan’s spokeswoman, Estee Portnoy, said in a statement.

But the mother isn’t backing down and says that Michael needs to man up and accept responsibility for the son that he created many years ago.

“My son has the right to know who his father is,” Smith said. “He has had an i

ssue with it over the years.”
