Eta-NuAnnual Black History Festival at E. Pat Larkin Center

The Eta Nu Education Foundation in conjunction with the City of Pompano Beach will present the Annual Black History Festival at the E. Pat Larkin Center, 520 MLK Blvd., Pompano Beach, Fla.

The educational, informative and entertaining three-day event is open to the public; be-ginning Friday, Feb. 7-9, 2014 it is designed to celebrate the myriad contributions of African-Americans to the American experience.

Any or all three days will be a perfect time to bring family and friends as we segway into celebrating Black History month.

Following is a schedule of events and times:

·       Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. — 6 to 9 p.m.: Opening Reception, Black History Exhibit

·       Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. — 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Black History Exhibit, Health Screenings (blood pressure, blood screenings and cholesterol), Live Entertainment, Omega 3 DJs and HBCU Information

·       Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. — 1 to 5 p.m.: Black History Exhibit and Vintage Car Show.
