Birthday celebration for Janie Burgess McCutheon whose turning 100 on June 21
A birthday celebration for Janie Burgess McCutheon will be held on June 26, 2016 at 5 p.m. at the IBEW, 301 N.E. First St., Pompano Beach, Fla.
Janie Burgess McCutheon was born in Lake City, South Carolina on June 21, 1916.
She was united in marriage to the late Eugene McCutcheon, Sr. at the early age of 13 and he was 17. They were marriage for 48 years when he passed away.
From this union they had nine children: Annie Ruth Gaskin, Eugene McCutcheon, Jr., Elizabeth Jordan (deceased); Leroy McCutcheon (deceased); Mary Banks, James Russell McCutheon (deceased); Melva Crutchfield, Jill Vivian McCutheon and Kersandra Perry (deceased).
McCutcheon has 41 grand-children, 75 great grandchil-dren; 48 great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
She has resided in South Florida for 62 years.
