Broward Water Partnership Offers Rebates on Toilets and Other Free Incentives

Whether you’re remodeling your bathroom or simply in the market for a new toilet, now is the time to replace it. The Broward Water Partnership has teamed with the Fort Lauderdale Home Design and Remodeling Show to help you learn how to save water and money — with rebates on water conserving toilets.

If your toilets are pre-1994 models, chances are you’re sending lots of water and money down the drain. The Broward Water Partnership, which includes Broward County and 17 local governments and water utilities, is helping you save with rebates. Homes, businesses and nonprofits with toilets that use more than 1.6 gallons of water per flush (gpf) may receive rebates of up to $100 each on WaterSense® High Efficiency Toilets that use 1.28 gpf or less. Pre-approval is required and other restrictions apply.

Come check out the latest in toilet technology at the 2012 Home Design and Remodeling Show, November 16-18, at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center. The Broward Water Partnership and their program spokesperson, Steve the Plumber, will have a booth located at the main entrance where they’ll be helping customers apply to start saving water and money.

Please note you will need to know how many gallons of water per flush your current toilet uses and you’ll also need your utility bill account number to apply.

The show is the last comprehensive marketplace of the year for home improvement and design in South Florida. Consumers will see a showcase featuring thousands of products and services needed to update or renovate living spaces, including bath remodeling.

Show hours: Friday, November 16, 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m.; Saturday, November 17, 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m.; and Sunday, November 18, 11 a.m.-7:30 pm.For more information about the rebate program, visit ConservationPays.com or call 1-800-270-9794
