Chi Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Coral Springs, members were winners at the 62nd South Atlantic Regional Conference in Orlando, Fla., held April 15-19, 2015. The chapter received the First Place Sharon Brown-Harriott AKA Connection Award, First Place Global Leadership Through Timeless Service Initiative II: Health and Wellness (for chapters with membership more than 75, but less than 150).
First Place Georgia Schank, “Innovative Program Award”, Third Place Marsha Lewis-Brown, “Service Impact Award”, First Place “Chapter Arts and Crafts” and Chapter President, Veronica E. Phillips, received “Delores H. Oliver Service to Mankind”, First Place award. Moreover, the chapter received the STAR (Standing Tall Among the Regions) Award for its outstanding standard’s evaluation. Chapter members are committed to uplifting their respective communities through service and evidencing that service through competition at its conferences.
