Dear Alumni, Community Leaders, Friends and Supporters of Dillard High School:
Dillard High School’s Student Government Association, along with our community partners are asking for your support and participation in our 2013-2014 Homecoming Parade and Tailgate celebration. The 2012-2013 Homecoming parade was a huge success and we hope to continue the Blue and Gray spirit of tradition throughout our community. This year’s parade will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 9 a.m., and will culminate in a tailgate celebration at Dillard High School. The parade will tentatively begin on Ninth Avenue and Sistrunk Blvd., and will end in the Dillard High 27 Avenue, parking lot. The tailgate celebration will begin immediately after the parade.
Please come and help us make this year’s Dillard Homecoming Parade a wonderful experience for our students, alumni, and community. We invite everyone to participate in the week-end’s activities starting with the parade, continuing with tailgate, and then cheering the Panthers on to victory against Pines Charter High School. Our Principal, Mrs. Robinson, thanks you in advance for your continued support of Dillard High School and is looking forward to your participation. We would like you to be a part of our parade by entering floats, cars, and groups/organizations. Please build your floats now. There is a registration fee for cars, floats, and groups. A portion of the proceeds will help to offset the costs for our next year’s homecoming parade events and activities for the upcoming school year.
