Generators For Irma Survivors

Generators-for-IRMAGenerators For Irma Survivors

This GoFundMe is to raise money to help the Hurricane Irma victims in Florida, primarily elders and single heads of households with children.

The money we raise will be used to purchase and distribute generators and give power to those families in need at this time. Each generator costs about $300 and we would like to at least supply 100 or more generators.

The funds are being raised by Chris Bennett Enterprises Charities, a Seattle based nonprofit organization which raises money for scholarships and also has a 40+ year history of working with it’s local community to provide coats/clothing, food and toys to families in need and also to provide emergency aid during natural disasters or emergency situations, most notably during Hurricane Katrina and recent flooding in Louisiana and Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

For this effort, we have partnered with local organizations to help  supply and distribute the generators including the West Side Gazette Newspaper in the Ft. Lauderdale area and First Thursday Jacksonville. These resources are needed as soon as possible and we will appreciate all the help we can get. #StayStrongFlorida our thoughts and prayers are with you! Help spread the word!
