I’m more to God: Than a computer is to me

“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.”                                        1 Peter 5:10 (AMP)

When we find ourselves disheveled, disconfigurated and just plain old downright useless remember God has a plan for us.

While sitting here trying to get my work done, my computer began to function as if it had a mind of its own. I could not figure out why I could not send emails.

I could receive mail, but the little technological mailman inside of my computer refused to come to my address and deliver any of my most important, time sensitive and pressing mail; I guess he thought that it was all junk mail!

We were on deadline and I had to figure out how do I get my computer to readjust itself and send out emails. Even though I was getting emails, we could not be afforded the opportunity to not be allowed to respond to or invite others to respond to us without acknowledgement.

I was totally confused. Now I’m wondering how were we going to make it through today and on top of that, today was our deadline so no matter what, I had to get things corrected!

I’m concerned and apprehensive now. What can I do? I called our computer guy and he gave me some suggestions but none of them were correcting the problem.

What was I going to do? Here I am getting more frustrated by the moment and I can’t see my way past this. Anxiety closed in on me like chickens on a Junebug.

My patience was running thinner than the film covering my eyelids, my perspiration covered my hands like gloves, and all I could see was glum on the horizon.

Then, all of a sudden, at the same time our computer guy and I said; “what about using the system restore?”

There’s a program on the computer that can go back to where your computer was working properly; all functions, all systems-everything would be flawless except the person operating it-me.

While in the system restore program we had to remember and relocate a point where the system was performing correctly.

It’s amazing all we had to do was to go back and pick a date where the email system was working completely normal, select that date and abracadabra— it was as if the gremlin inside the computer immediately changed residence.  The computer responded as if it was brand new and all we had to do was to go back and choose a date that the computer worked the best.

No matter what we are going through, have been through or will go through, we can have a restore point if we just keep the faith; “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help!” Psalm 121:1(KJV)

God can work on us just like that by giving us a new date in our new life free from all of that which causes us not to be able to send and receive. All we have to do is just ask Him.

What is your system restore date-or do you need one? “He saved us because of his mercy, and not because of any good things that we have done. God washed us by the power of the Holy Spirit. He gave us new birth and a fresh beginning.” Titus 3:5 (CEV)

“Heavenly Father, teach us how to stop blocking our blessing and how to find You when our system needs to be restored. Only You Dear God know the real time of our exact restoration.”

With God and His creations there is no need for [man[ufactors. God is the maker and tender of the finest computers.
