The celebration was attended by friends, neighbors, church and sorority members, family and other groups of the couple’s affiliations.

The couple’s daughter-in-law, Aniva Lumpkins, hand-led many of the details. Barbara Lumpkins read an original poem which depicted the couple.  Memories and appreciations were given by Eddie Cousin, nephew; Erica Fears, cousin and great niece of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Cornelius Fears, nephew was instrumental in acquiring the card from President and Mrs. Obama which was read.

A long-time friend, Margaret Roseburr, took them down memory lane of the travels the family made.

The renewing of vows was conducted by Rev. Anthony Burrell of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Pompano Beach, Fla. Joel Lumpkins and Claudia Morgan stood with couple as best man and matron of honor. The couple attributes the suc-cess of their marriage to Al-mighty God who has sustained them.
