Plantation-Woodlawn-ProjectPLANTATION HIGH SCHOOL’S WOODLAWN CEMETERY CLEAN UP PROJECT: Students from Plantation High School are currently doing a clean-up project at Fort Lauderdale’s Woodlawn Cemetery. The project started Jan. 11, 2016 and will finish Friday, Jan. 15, 2016. The school was the recipient of a Broward College Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service grant. Home Depot has also donated some materials to support the project. Many local organizations have collaborated to make this clean-up possible including The City of Fort Lauderdale, The Florida Public Archeology Network, and The Fort Lauderdale Historical Society. This project is a continuation of the project started by Boyd H. Ander-son High School with the support of the Broward County YMCA 21st Century Program. By Roberto Fernandez, III.
