Ship’s Serviceman Seaman Verlinne Sylla was recently named Sailor of the Day aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. Sylla hails from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and is a 2006 graduate of Fort Lauderdale High School. When asked what she did to receive the award Sylla said, “Nothing goes unseen.
