A Dynamic Fusion of Art and Nature at Bonnet House

Outdoor Exhibition on Display Now – April 19, 2026

Prepare to be moved by the power of stone. From now through April 19, Bonnet House Museum & Gardens transforms into a vibrant sanctuary of African artistry. This is a rare, high energy opportunity to witness Zimbabwe’s world-renowned Shona sculpture tradition in the most iconic setting in Fort Lauderdale. This exhibition isn’t just a display; it is a massive, evolving celebration of human creativity that demands to be seen in person.

The sheer volume of art on-site is unmatched. Visitors will discover 100 towering, museum grade sculptures—some reaching staggering heights of seven feet. Strategically placed thoughtfully among the estate’s historic trees and vibrant flora. These grand forms are complemented by a vibrant on-site Marketplace, curated with over 300 unique sculptures. From whimsical animal forms and intricate botanical inspirations to expressive human faces, the Marketplace offers a treasure trove of art for every taste and budget, making it the perfect place to find a one-of-a-kind gift or home centerpiece.

To keep the energy high and the experience fresh, the exhibition is designed to be everchanging. As pieces are replaced the moment they are sold, no two visits to the garden are ever the same. The heartbeat of the event is the live sculpting area, where world-class sculptors perform daily demonstrations. You can stand inches away from the artists, feeling the rhythm of the hammers and the dust of the stone as they bring ancient traditions into the modern day. Don’t miss this chance to engage with a historic art form that bridges the gap between the heritage of the Bartletts and the global stage of contemporary Africa.
