The 2024 Presidential election demanded a call to arms greater than the Normandy invasion, which saved Democracy from Nazi Germany. Black voters numbering tens of millions will cast their ballots to save Democracy from Trump. Using Hitler’s tactics, Trump has destroyed America’s moral compass and corrupted its core institutions. Just as Hitler failed to recognize America’s strength and resolve, Trump’s racism has caused him to disrespect the power of Black voters. Black voters’ nuclear ballots have always defended America’s Democracy.
Deceptively, Republican pollsters are describing the election between VP/ Presidential candidate Harris and Trump as close. They’re intentionally using conspiracy theories alleging Black men are refusing to back Harris’ candidacy because of economic issues and stagnant wages. This is first-degree hogwash!
Black men are aware of Trump’s hatred and discrimination towards them, dating back to his and his father’s refusal to rent to Black tenants. Despite the Central Park Five young Black men were eventually exonerated, Trump expressed his disapproval by spending $85,000 for an ad entitled, “BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY, BRING BACK OUR POLICE!”
Trump, being the despicable individual that he is, has refused to apologize for his racist actions. Typically, he’s shown no empathy for his treatment of women or respect for the U.S. Constitution/rule of law. It appears Republican white supremacist and MAGA followers are willing to elect a misfit for the Presidency if he espouses racism and bigotry.
Regrettably, Black Republican Congresspersons and misguided Black voters are willing to support Trump despite his defamatory rhetoric and 2025 Project. What analogy would explain to Black supporters of Trump that a narcissist is abusing them? Try this one! Anyone standing beside Trump who is looking in a mirror and doesn’t see who he hates is a victim.
The excellent news is that Black voters know what’s at stake. Black men fought in the American Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and every war to defend Democracy. Black voters recognize Trump, though delusional, is forecasting winning the
Presidency. Unfortunately, it’s now Trump’s second “ultimate” dream.
To Trump’s surprise, tens of millions of Black voters’ nuclear ballots will make sure that on November 5, his dream of returning to the White House will turn into a nightmare. In the words of Langston Hughes, ‘Life in America for Black people hasn’t been a crystal star.!’ For anti-democratic Republican Congressperson, Evangelicals, MAGA cult followers, and the six conservative super majority Supreme Court Justice, it may be hard to understand why Black people were willing to die to defend Democracy.
Black people endured enslavement for 246 years, followed by another 100 years of Jim Crow; therefore, we cherish freedom. White people in America have been free all their lives; thus, they’re willing to surrender their freedom. They relish the idea Trump is planning to turn the page back on a more inconclusive and progressive society.
Amazingly, both Trump and JD Vance are married to immigrants. Yet, they characterize other immigrants as poisoning the blood of Americans. Did Trump’s first wife, who was an immigrant, and Meliana poison his blood against other immigrants?
Black voters can recognize a bald snake oil salesperson selling hair growth tonic any day. He’ll either be bald or comb his hair over the bald spot. This salesman will also peddle gold sneakers, watches, Bibles, and cheap conspiracy theories.
Join the Black Voters’ Coalition and defend Democracy against those willing to support Trump and his brand of Fascism. How quickly people forget that Hitler convinced Germans to hate Jews as he incinerated them. Now, Trump demonizes immigrants, promising to round them up like animals for deportation.
