Black Women’s Roundtable Healthy Wealthy and Wise Empowerment Forum to feature actress and producer Vivica A. Fox

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — The Florida Coalition on Black Civic Participation (FCBCP) will host its fourth Black Women’s Roundtable (BWR) Healthy, Wealthy & Wise National Empowerment Forum bringing together national and local experts to educate and uplift over 150 underserved women and girls.

The day-long event will be held Saturday, April 14, 2012, and feature: a mini-expo, fitness exercise to support women in our community, and roundtable listening sessions addressing violence against women and girls, healthy living, jobs, and wealth. Admission is $25.00.

Black Women’s Roundtable is an intergenerational network of The National Coalition on Black Civic Participation (NCBCP) bringing together diverse women to motivate Black women to engage in all levels of civil society. The National Coalition is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to increasing civic engagement in underserved communities. The FCBCP is an affiliate of the NCBCP.
