Chi Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha named Runner-Up for 2018 MLK Monument Award

Chi Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, was named runner-up for the prestigious 2018 MLK Monument Award for the second year in a row. Children’s Services Council of Broward, a long-standing partner of Chi Psi Omega, nominated the chapter for the award which is given to the organization, agency or institution that best exemplifies the ideals and teachings of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Chi Psi Omega chapter members Barbara Thomas and Ann Burnett accepted the award at the Marriott Coral Springs in front of a standing room only crowd of more than six hundred MLK Monument Award luncheon attendees.
