Congresswoman Frederica Wilson receives Broward Black Elected Officials Inaugural Lifetime Achievement Community Service Award

Congresswoman Frederica Wilson receives Broward Black Elected Officials  Inaugural Lifetime Achievement Community Service Award, at their annual gala held, Friday night, March 1, 2013. The Congresswoman received a standing ovation from a sold-out ballroom of other awardees, elected officials and attendees at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. This was the first time the event has been sold out and this is first time the Broward Black Elected Officials have given a Lifetime Achievement Award. The Congresswoman is pictured from left to right with her son-in law Shelly Rochelle, her daughter Lakesha Wilson-Rochelle, her son Paul Wilson, Attorney Ava Parker, Role Model and Entrepreneur Eric Accime, (Congresswoman Wilson in the middle), Florida State Representative Joe Gibbons and Congresswoman Wilson’s daughter-in law Farrah Wilson.
