The Dillard girl’s cross country team celebrates their 3A District and Regional titles on the heels of capturing the Spanich River Invitational in Boca Raton, Florida. David Gill is the architect of this looming dynasty.

For the second consecutive year the  Dillard Panthers girl’s cross country team, under the direction of Coach David Gill, has solidified its position as an early favorite to win the Class 3A State Cross Country Championship, coming off the heels of a dominant performance as district and regional champions. According to Coach Gill, the individual and team ceilings are unlimited, portending a great future for the program.

Head Coach Davidson Gill.  The State cross country championships  meet will be held Saturday, November 16,  in Tallahassee beginning at 7:20 AM.  “We are down one of our top 2 runners due to injury, but we still believe and are preparing to overcome it and have a shot to finish in the top 2,” states Coach Gill.

The Westside Gazette and publisher Bobby R. Henry, Sr. wish the Dillard Panthers Cross Country team a successful, triumphant state meeting.
