DR. DOROTHY BENDROSS-MINDINGALL, HONORED — Dr. Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall, School Board Member for District 2 was recently honored by the Theodore R. Gibson Memorial Board of Directors at its 31st Annual Unity Dinner Celebration for her commitment to fostering unity in our multi-ethnic community. The event was held at Jungle Island. The award acknowledges Dr. Bendross-Mindingall’s commitment, persistence, dedication and sense of forbearance, all of which have contributed to the positive transformation of Miami-Dade County within the last 30 years. Dr. Bendross-Mindingall accepted this honor in the presence of friends, family and colleagues.
