Bank United has selected FMU Juniors, Business Administration Major Jonathan Cash and Finance Major Maya Schuler, to join them this summer as interns. Both Cash and Schuer were thrilled when they learned they were both accepted.
Bank United’s Scholarship/Summer Internship Program is a fundamental pillar of their iCARE™ program– Inclusive Community of Advocacy, Respect and Equality.
Since the inception of their iCARE™ program, more than 100 high school and college students have participated, and 37 participants have been hired on to various roles with the bank.
The six participating colleges and universities are Florida Memorial University (FMU), Florida International University (FIU), Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU), Miami Dade College (MDC), Medgar Evers College, and Farmingdale State College (FSC).
