Fort Lauderdale Community Development Corporation’s First Annual

‘Building Communities Block By Block Casino Night’

     The Fort Lauderdale Community Development Corporation (FLCDC) will present its first annual “Building Communities Block by Block” fundraising event Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the Northwest Federated Women’s Club, 2161 N.W. 19 St., Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

    Attendees will enjoy an evening of music, culinary delights and casino-style fun all to raise monies for the FLCDC and its assistance programs. The event’s purpose is to raisefunding to increase the quality of affordable housing within our community, block by block. Funding will also address much needed special construction projects to improve the quality of life for residents.

    Ticket prices are $50.00 per person or $75.00 per couple and include hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and soft drinks. Reservations are requested by Friday, Feb. 1, 2013. Contact (954) 764-8500 or ftlcdc@gmail.com for more information or to purchase tickets.

Our target area has been the northwest section of Fort Lauderdale. The FLCDC’s has strived to increase affordable housing, identify and implement economic development, alleviate poverty, and be an advocate for the residents of this targeted area.
