More than a few African Americans will be running for elected offices in various upcoming elections.
Keisha Lance Bottoms and Stacey Abrams may both be running for Governor in Georgia and Al Lawson and Byron Donalds, a Republican, will battle Lawson, a Democrat, in the Sunshine State possibly.
All of the candidates mentioned above have held various elected offices before.
All of the candidates have run for office with verbal support of their respective political parties.
Will the Black candidates run to represent the voters in the states where they will run or will they run to please and rubber-stamp the positions of their political parties? dictatorial
If you don’t know, most voters are unenthusiastic about both major political parties.
The majority of American voters, hate the authoritative, dictatorial policies and practices of the Republicans and, and they are not happy wih the fake diversity of Democrats and the party’s reluctance to fight for what is right.
If voters are unhappy with how Republican candidates bow down and lick the boots of Donald Trump, they are also disappointed in the fake diversity and false promises of Democrats.
So, what can voters do? They can be open and consider independent candidates, they can lean toward “Democratic Socialists”, or perhaps voters can demand hat candidates in either, or both, parties, serve the American people than serving themselves. The people also know that election strategies and tactics used in 1955 have not worked very well in 2025 and in previous political contests.
The people know and understand that Democrats and Republicans love each other more than they love the voters that cast ballots for them.
Donald Trump’s lies and false promises, his weaponization of federal law enforcers, and his policies designed to enrich his family and himself are not what the people want and are not what people voted for.
Well, what can Black candidates, Hispanic candidates, young candidates and other candidates do?
Candidates can convince voters that they will represent and work for the people. They can have more diverse campaign staffs, they can have better political messages that are professionally produced with quicker and more accurate responses to lies and false political statements, they can improve their political planning and political timing, they can understand if any campaign worker gets paid, all campaign workers should get paid. The racist ideas that only whites should be compensated and Black and Hispanics should be happy to volunteer on campaigns should be abandoned and discredited.
Black candidates for the same political offices should meet and talk to each other to consider working together.
Black communities need younger Black candidates. The old, scared, and controlled Black candidates may be good men and women, but they oftentimes lack courage. They are reluctant to fight the power that holds us back and limits Black progress.
There is money in politics. Black individuals, Black organizations, Black businesses donate millions to political campaigns but they never earmark the contributions because they don’t have a clue what political earmarks mean.
If Blacks want to contribute millions to a Black candidate, they can “earmark” what the millions should be spent on.
Why do labor unions earmark contributions? So ALL political printing must be done by union printers.
