Lauderhill Commissioner Ken Thurston (c) held his first Teacher Appreciation Breakfast for the 16 teachers who received the Teacher of the Year Accolade from the Broward School Board where Lauderhill students are served. The breakfast was held May 26, 2016 at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center. The teachers were given Certificates of Appreciation along with a Bag of Goodies including a Visa Gift Card.
