Making Swimming Accessible to Black People: Paulana Lamonier’s Passion--A former collegiate swimmer and multimedia journalist, Paulana Lamonier is on a mission to shatter the stereotype that Black people don’t swim. Founder of Black People Will Swim, a purpose-driven organization, Paulina aims to make learning how to swim accessible and inclusive for the Black community while simultaneously redefining stereotypes and breaking down impediments to progress a safe, secure and sustainable welcoming environment.
