No matter the darkness, Light will come

A MESSAGE FROM THE PUBLISHER

Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. James 1:17

By Bobby R. Henry, Sr.

A lot of things move under the shadow of darkness. We may consider darkness to be things that affect us in an adverse manner, things we do not like. Yes in many instances we may cause darkness to come upon us, and there are times when we have no control of darkness.

If you don’t pay your light bill your lights will go off, yet when a bad storm comes and knocks out your lights, you have no control; but either way you’re in the darkness. On one hand you caused the darkness; on the other, you could not stop the darkness.

Being in the dark without means to see, to find your way, to feel secure isn’t dependent upon who or what caused it; the security is knowing who’s there in the dark with you.

Strange things happen in the dark; surprisingly, that which occurs in the dark is happening in the light too but, the darkness mask those things to cover them and give you a misunderstanding.

I look at this coronavirus-19 and see the darkness that it has placed over the world. It has caused our attention to be focused on it white the same old trickery of lies that are played in this game of politicks- taken from the poor and given to the rich continues to catapult into a health pandemic that is knowing no boundaries.

As alarming as this situation is we all are in it and it does not discriminate. That old adage what happens in the dark comes to light is manifesting itself right before us.

I don’t think it will be long before we see our leadership suffering from the same effects of this darkness as the least, left out and the lonely.

No, I’m not afraid I do believe that it rains on the just as well as the unjust. Darkness covers us all when darkness comes and blankets everything and everyone no one can hide from it.

However the reassuring part about all of this is day shall follow night and when the light comes nothing can be hidden. So during this time let us be mindful of everything while it’s still day because no man can work when the night comes.

“Dear God. In the name of Jesus. We come seeking Your marvelous Light to shine our way   out of this darkness that is guiding us blindly into a world of confusion created by man. Dark now, though it may be, we are not “lending to our own understanding” but, forever trusting in You the Creator of all good and perfect things. In Jesus name please hear our prayers.”
