CORAL SPRING, FL – May 2024 – The North Broward County (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated invited six dynamic women into their organization to continue their mantra of “Linked in Friendship, Connected in Service” in Broward County.

More than 110 family members and friends attended the New Members Brunch on May 18, 2024 at The View at Colony West Golf Club, in Tamarac, where “The Privileged Six” presented their community service project entitled S.H.E.R.O.E.S. (Sisters Helping HEROES) a Food Pantry in partnership with United Way, Mission United, Farm Share, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and AARP all aiding in the effort to mitigate food insecurity among Veterans and their families.  The pantry is located at the United Way of Broward County and will provide non-perishable canned goods to veterans on a quarterly basis.

Congratulations to these six amazing women:  Sharry Bain, Delzana “Raquel” Bulford-Frazier, Enette Henderson, Dr. Sherron Parrish, Daphne Snell, and Marie P. Woodson.
