Democrats in the Texas House of Representatives kept a bill imposing new voting restrictions from passing by walking out of the House Chambers before the midnight deadline.

The Republican Governor, Greg Abbot, stated that a special session would be called to retry the approval of this bill.

This bill, known as Senate bill 7, is imposing a ludicrous amount of election changes which would eliminate drive-thru voting, emancipate partisan poll watchers, and force new requirements in order to cast a ballot by mail in Texas.

As these elections go by, voter disenfranchisement continues to  get worse. They do not want our voices to be heard. Which is why voting is so essential. We need to continue to go out and vote like we all did last election.

When they try to knock us down, we get back up and continue to try and try again.
