The University of Kentucky’s African American Studies Program, Fayette County’s Fatherhood Initiative and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity’s Lexington Graduate Chapter have selected our own Vaughn Little as 2012’s Man of the Year! I mean really….does it gets any better than this?!?!!? Little is a former All-State wrestler and football player from Dillard High School. He credits his high school coach Art Kennedy, Dillard’s out-standing staff, Dr. W. F. Washington, and Golden Heights Church of Christ for their positive encouragement. He played college football at Alabama State University. Congratulations, Coach Little! You so deserve! Way to go and thanks, for the difference you make for our kids (and for us, the grown-ups!).
