Carrie Thomas departed this earthly life for her Heavenly home Tuesday, January 28, 2020 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Thomas was “101” years old. She was a longtime member of New Mount Olive Baptist Church for over “87” years. The wake will be held Friday, Feb. 7 from 5 to 9 p.m. at McWhite’s Funeral Home, 3501 W. Broward Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. at New Mount Olive Baptist Church, 400 N.W. Ninth Ave., Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
