Mr. James “Jimmy” Anders – Retired educator, coach, and counselor. Some may remember him from Mays High School where he taught physical education and coached football and basketball from 1954 to 1967. Others may remember him from Miami Central High School and other local schools. He was a proud graduate of Florida A&M University and a long-time member of the FAMU National Alumni Association/Miami-Dade Chapter. He was also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and the Church of the Open Door. Mr. Anders lived life to the fullest. He would have been 97 in September. Mr. Anders had a great personality and keen sense of humor. He will be missed. Arrangements for his farewell are being finalized. Regrettably, family, friends and loved ones are unable to celebrate his life as we desire because of restrictions due to the pandemic. Please pray for his wife
