Robert Lee Smith was born August 30, 1927. He was the third child born to the late Miles Sr. and Rhoda Murry Smith in Greenville, Florida. Robert and his family members were members of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, Florida. His brothers, Miles Jr. and Frank preceded him in death.
Wake will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at McWhite Funeral Home, 3501 W. Broward Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, Florida at 5 p.m. 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church Piney Grove on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 10:00 am. Internment will take place in Greenville, Florida. The body has been entrusted to Manker Funeral Home, Miami, Florida (305) 635-4453.
