Oswald Park in Fort Lauderdale, 2220 Northwest 21st Avenue, is seeking volunteer coaches for its basketball program. Just come in and speak to Sandy or call Mr. Wright at (754) 779-6208. This year’s program is going to be run by volunteer coaches. It’s a wonder-ful way to keep the community involved supporting all the talent from all schools in the Broward County area. This is a chance to do what Holiday Park has been doing for years. Now it’s our turn flag football and other sports coming up. Register and be a part.

The Memorial Exhibit of the Life of the late Carlton B. Moore will be opened to the public at the Old Dillard Museum until Jan. 31, 2016. Mr. Moore was a long time Fort Lauderdale City Commissioner, Civil Rights Activist and a Leader for Change for all of Fort Lauder-dale.
