Quarterback Phi Back Awards Releases Inaugural High School Quarterbacks Watch List

     The Quarter Phi Back Awards created by The MENT.O.R.S. Foundation, Inc. (Jacksonville, FL) released its inaugural “watch list” of quarterbacks for the 2022 season. The organization will monitor and track the performances of quarterbacks in four different levels to determine which player will be nominated for the Annual BIP Memorial Trophy.      John McKinney is a 1966 graduate of Mays High School. He was a three-year starter for the Rams and set the all-time career scoring record. He is regarded as the school’s greatest player in history. During his senior year he averaged 27.2 points per game.  […]

Albert Hannah (‘68)

Albert was a standout in football. He was an outstanding wide-receiver for the Mays Rams. He led his team to numerous titles including Big 9 Conference champs and the Class 2A State Champions, the only state football title in school history.
