Twenty-three-year-old Nneka Jones, a recent graduate of the University of Tampa in Florida, is the latest T&T national to make the country proud as her unique artwork was selected by the long time eminent, American created, Time Magazine for its August 31 to September 7, issue.

   While children may not be moving from one classroom to the next or to and from lunch and recess, a virtual or at home learning environment can still have many of the supports that a typical classroom or school has. Check in with how children are feeling physically throughout the day and pay attention to sedentary patterns. Make sure they are fueling their bodies with good foods and are balancing their day with physical activity and play.

The Miami Dolphins and Air Pros USA, a leading residential and commercial air conditioning services company and the official Air Conditioning partner for the NFL team, came together to help a family of five living in the Miami area. They selected Jerry and Deborah Sanders to receive a new air conditioning unit, based on a nomination submitted by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Miami-Dade branch.

     A court in California just issued a temporary “stay” on restricting rideshare operations in the state over the independent contractor issue. The court ruling should be made permanent while civil rights and business leaders work together to undo the unjust and unfair rideshare regulations that may negatively impact millions of people throughout America.
