     December 10, 2020 marked the 72nd anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Two related documents also celebrate significant anniversaries this year: the 25th anniversary of the Declaration of Principles on Tolerance and the 75th anniversary of the United Nations Charter. Both Declarations and the Charter provide a framework for building unity in a diverse world.

     Spreading the love of God around the world has always been an essential part of Pastor Henry Brown’s life, oftentimes saying, “To whom much is given, much is required.” As a true man of “the word” and operating as God’s vessel, the lyrics and harmony of the song “I Am Strong” tugged at his heart, while Lady Brown made announcements about parishioners who were significantly impacted by COVID. The turmoil and trials that so many individuals in this world are dealing with jolted his spirit, and God placed this song in his heart.

A 2021 NFL Hall of Fame legend, 2021 Grammy-nominated recording artists and a commander and captain in the United States Coast Guard were among the distinguished Broward County high school alumni who were honored by Broward Education Foundation during the Publix Super Markets Charities 2020 “Hall of Fame Awards” presented by Memorial Healthcare System.
