    The Black Male Media Project is an initiative to help change the narrative around the lives and images of black men in the news and in society.  It is designed to inspire, support and develop training and mentorship opportunities for black men working in or aspire to work in journalism and media.

    We are recognizing black men in South Florida who are making a difference for their communities.

    NBA Champion Udonis Haslem of the Miami Heat, rapper and activist Luther Campbell, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sister of Miami- Gale Nelson, iHeart Radio personality and community activist Papa Keith, CEO of “Move the Crowd Miami”- Paul Wilson, and founder of “Moguldom” and online magazine “MadamNoire”- Jamarlin Martin.
