Dr. Pastor Willie Marie Spidell passed way on Monday, June 6, 2012 at 11:41a.m. at her home. She was a retired school teacher and a leader in the community. Dr. Spidell was the senior pastor of God’s House of Refuge International Outreach Ministries. She was truly a real woman of God that practiced what she preached. She has a doctorate degree of Science and Early Childhood Education and recently received her Doctorate of Divinity a few months ago. She was an exceptional, mother, wife, friend, grandmother, teacher and leader. She will be greatly missed. She donated countless time and hours to many organizations throughout the community such as Women In Distress, Salvation Army, United Way, Jack & Jill and countless others.
