    Broward County Electrical Career Fair

    The City of Pompano Beach through Collective Community Initiative have teamed up with The Development Firm to bring residents an electrical construction hiring event in Pompano Beach.

    The electrical contractor for the Broward County Convention Center Expansion and Hotel is looking to fill positions immediately. Join us on Wednesday, February 10th at the Ronald McNair Park basketball court located at 951 NW 27th Ave 33069, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to apply for any interested positions. Please bring your resume or business profile with you, we will be conducting interviews on-site.

    Available positions are:

    Electrical Apprentice- Motivated individuals who want to learn the electrical trade and have a high school diploma or GED.

    Electrician- Active journeyman or master electrician license and at least three years of experience as an electrician.

    Skilled Laborer- Mount boxes, thread dead wire (MC Cable, Romex, Cat 5, etc.), lift and move material and equipment, lay conduit, etc.

    Electrical Foreman- Supervise personnel completing electrical building projects, assign tasks, inspecting electricians work, monitoring team performance, reading blueprints.
