In America there is a lack of racial and ethnic diversity in the healthcare therapists’ field, and there is a need for more organizations to address this problem. The National Association of Black Physical Therapists’ goal is to address the emotions and feelings of the lone minorities embarking on a journey to become physical therapists and physical assistants.

We’re in a moment when we can finally shift from an economy defined by consumption back to one defined by working people making and using things they can be proud of again from electric school buses to solar panels.
America’s government, since its founding on July 4, 1776, has accumulated a legacy of using its laws as weaponization tactics to harm, kill and enslave Indigenous and Black people. Thus, ensued the belief by this government that white people were superior and thereby had the right to eradicate Indians using cultural genocide. The Supreme Court in 1857 ruled that Black people were not citizens and slavery continued from 1619 thru 1865.
To start with, the Democrats must give 18 to 25 year olds more opportunities to be on television, town hall meetings, panel discussions, and develop policies, and shows that interest them. It is time for the older legislators to listen and reach out to this voting age group.
Violence against Black women and girls is a longstanding national epidemic that has long been overlooked and underreported. Though they make up less than 5% of Los Angeles’ population, Black women are far more likely to experience multiple forms of violence and trauma than other groups.
Recognize the Game
The truth is, crime is out of control in this country, especially in too many of our cities. While many choose to turn a blind eye, it is people of color who are the majority of the victims: People of color account for 73 percent of rape victims; 72 percent of robbery victims; and 80 percent of felony assault victims; and 68.7 percent of the people in prison are Black and brown and 44% percent of the people killed by police in the United States are Black and brown.
In the midst of the discussion of the second indictment of former President Donald Trump, there is an issue greater than, if not equal to, the former President’s alleged crimes. That issue is the embarrassing spectacle of those elected members of the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate who have taken an oath to “uphold and defend” the Constitution of the United States, which includes its laws, institutions and process of governance. That oath respects the separation of powers as established in Articles I, II and III of the Constitution.
Former President Trump throughout his life has brazenly demonstrated his abominable character. His lack of morality, penchant for criminality, lust for money, pursuit of women, and racism amplifies his unfitness. Most importantly, his disdain for the rule of law makes him dangerous for democracy. Twice impeached, rejected by voters, sued for millions, now, he’s indicted for the second time.
