     He received his education from the Broward County School System; Bethune Elementary in Hollywood, FL, later the family moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL where he attended Rock Island Elementary, Everglades Junior High (presently William Dandy) and Piper High School class of 1973. He played on Piper’s Varsity Basketball Team.

  Reading books about African Americans during the month of February, and not only, has become an essential practice for promoting empathy, understanding and appreciation for what Blacks have contributed to American society.

      One of the trailblazers in Black haircare and beauty products has passed away. Established in 1967 as Dudley Products Inc., the founder Dr. Joe L. Dudley Sr, has passed away at that age of 86. Three generations of Dudley family members have worked at Dudley Beauty Corp. and his legacy will continue to live on.

  Sister Annie M. Glover was born in Concord, Georgia on June 12, 1932  to parents Mrs. Emma Lizzie Milner ( Hassie ) and Mr. Marvin Manual, Sr.( Shorty), both of whom preceded her in death. Sister Glover married the love of her life,  Mr. Willie Glover, who also predeceased her. Born on June  12, 1932, Sister Glover received her Heavenly reward on February 4, 2024. Mrs. Glover was blessed with one child, Mr. Jimmie Reid (Sonya), Fort Lauderdale.
