On May 15, 1989, Derrick Sherrod Lafavor, 22 made a ‘touched down’ here on earth, January 18, 2011. Derrick slipped away to God’s heavenly end zone. Derrick loved football and was the youngest head football coach in Broward County. We know that you are now coaching on the sidelines in heaven where there are no losers, only winners. We still miss and love you coach; from your mother Robin, daddy Glen, grandparents Sylvester and Irma Wesley your coach Mark James and a host of relatives and friends.
