2 John 1:1 The elder unto the elect lady….
As we embark on the different chapters of our lives, it is so important that we remember a certain truth: God had us in mind when he created his plan for mankind. Although we deal with many challenges, face multiple difficulties, and make numerous choices in our lives. Our individual journeys are foreordained and predetermined by God. Romans 8:29 and 30, tells us “For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first born among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.”
No matter how many road blocks we come across and detours we confront on our pre-sent journey, our lives have been mapped out and planned by God. He knows every move we make and has given us a living manual that tells us what to do and how to accomplish every obstacle we face. I came across a passage by Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin. He explains life’s destiny this way. “The history of mankind is not a purposeless history. It is a manifestation of the divine purpose.” There is a purpose and there is hope for mankind, and our loving God has a plan. That plan, my dear friends is found in his written manual.
The bible as I know it, is life’s manual. The acronym B.I.B.L.E. [Basic instructions before we leave the earth], as one of my granddaughters ex-plains, is a blueprint of how this spiritual house is built, what we can do to overcome each obstacle, and how we can plan for our successes. Our destiny is aligned with His written instructions, and we have the information on how we can fulfill it. God thought about us before our parents were ever introduced, and he had a masterful design for our spiritual and physical success. All we have to do is follow the instructions in the manual [B.I.B.L.E].
Through a series of directives, some through visions and some audible, His manual was my guiding principle in fulfilling one of the greatest commands given to me through the leading of His Holy Spirit. April is a significant month for me. I celebrate two very important dates that have both a spiritual and natural connection to God’s design/purpose for my life. On April 1, 1981 God gave me a “New Birth”, entry into His ministry. Directives ensued for the flock of New Birth House of Prayer for All People. April 5, 1941 I was born. The first few weeks of this highly charged month has brought great joy. As God continues to order my steps I fulfill my destiny.
Sharing in the occasion with “The-Elect Lady” in her ministry, were great leaders such as Dr. Brian J. Mosley, founder and senior minster of Bread of Life Ministries, Atlanta, Ga. who opened the month of ministry celebration on April 1, 2012. Pastor Freddie Bryant, Committed to the Cause, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Pastor Ronnie Glover-Free Spirit Worship Center, West Palm Beach, Fla.; Bishop Willie Murphy, Pool of Bethesda Ministry, Hollywood, Fla., was instrumental in sharing powerful words of encouragement and instructions during the first week of April.
On April 7, family and friends gathered at the Marriot Resort to be a part of a special birthday celebration hosted by my daughters and the New Birth family. This was a night filled with warm wishes, inspirational songs, spirited messages, and dance as shared by many of my dear friends and family members.
As we culminate this month of observance at the New Birth House of Prayer for All People 2300 NW 22 St., Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Pastor Angela Maxwell-Greater Works Ministry, Pompano Beach, Fla. joined us on week two. Pastor Katherine Boswell-Now Faith Rose of Sharon Ministry, Miami, Fla. will join us on April 20 and closing out the final dates, Apostle Ariette Williams, Oil of God Ministry, St. Louis, Missouri on April 28 and 29, also Feed The Flock Day will be held April 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, lots of entertainment for the children.
