Running Down the RIDICULOUS

To all of my faithful readers out there, I would first like to say that I have certainly missed all of you. Due to an unforeseen and untimely illness I was forced to take a rather unpleasant hiatus from writing, but thanks to the marvels of modern medicine, I am back, and back with a vengeance.

It seemed like the longer I lay there waiting to recover, the crazier this world that we live in got. I mean good Lord, just this past week, we saw cannibalism surge in the United States, a porn star turn into a video-taping murderer, and an Illinois state representative completely lose his mind as he let loose in one of the most entertaining rants that the political world has ever seen.

Now before I can even begin to touch any of that, I must first address the fact that George Zimmerman’s bond has been revoked. Now I honestly don’t know why this recent development in the Trayvon Martin case actually came as a shock to anyone. First of all everything about George Zimmerman and his behavior on the night that he murdered Trayvon Mar-tin, and the weeks following were beyond RIDICULOUS.

Now folks don’t want to bring race into the mix, but for those idiots out there who absolutely insist that race has nothing to do with this case, I have to say that either you all are delusional beyond all measure, or you all think that those of us who live in brown skin are crazy. The bottom line is, if the shoe were on the other foot, and it was Trayvon who lived to tell his version of what happened that in-famous night, he would have been singing his song from behind the con-fines of the jailhouse walls, and he would have been locked up the night of the killing, not six weeks later.

Now I cannot ascertain if the reason that George Zimmerman is back in the pokey is because he has to be one of the dumbest people roaming the planet ever, or if it is because his narcissistic behaviors finally caught up with him. Fact, the man had a history of getting into trouble before his deadly rendezvous with Martin, yet he had always managed to get out of it.

Perhaps the fact that Zimmerman has the belief that he can do anything, including commit murder, and just walk away from it is the reason that he, and his wife thought that they could just waltz themselves into that Florida court room and commit perjury by misleading the court about their financial situation during the bond hearing that actually set him free.

Prosecutors allege that the Zimmerman’s actually spoke in some kind of a code during his phone calls that he made from jail after authorities finally decided to arrest him. The recorded phone calls revealed that Zimmerman instructed his wife to go to the bank and take control of his account. Zimmerman’s bank statements also revealed that the family had access to at least $135,000 in cash on the day before the bond hearing, yet the family claimed that they were in dire straits. Zimmerman and his wife also had another passport stashed away in a safety deposit box, and the verbiage in his phone calls would lead any reasonable human being to believe that the two possibly had plans for the document.

Here is the thing-what simpleton would actually think that they could be locked up behind bars, and their conversations not be recorded? See what I mean about arrogance? My daddy always said that an arrogant man is a stupid man, and Zimmerman is certainly no exception. No, if Zimmerman and his family would lie about their financial situation, what else would they have lied about or will they lie about?

Now, on to even more RIDICULOUS news, Illinois State Representative Mike Bost went on the rampage of all rampages last week. If you have ever wondered what is wrong with the political system in the United States of America, you need to do nothing more than to go to YouTube and check out Bost in all of his RIDICULOUS glory, http://youtu.be/NuynpMeDxTA. It is truly a sight to behold. There is no better television than television that exposes the mental collapse and breakdowns of people who are stupid and shallow enough to choose to expose all of that crazy to the world, but my God how glorious and satisfying it is when a Republican does it.

Finally, for those of you who are naive enough to believe that serial killers only come in white, you had better catch a clue. Alexander Kinyua, a 21 year old Morgan State University student confessed to not only the murder of his roommate Kujoe Bonsafo Agyei Kodie, but he also shared the morbid details of how he dismembered Kodies body, and then proceeded to devour a portion of his brain and his entire heart.

Kinyua was charged with first degree murder last Wednesday although authorities say that they have no clear motive in the case. Now personally, when I was in college, I had several roommates from Hell, but dang, to murder, chop up and cannibalize another human being is just simply beyond the pale.
