AwadaginPrat-480x480Awadagin Pratt ~ J.S. Bach – Prelude and Fugue in Ab Major BWV 886

In 1992, Awadagin Pratt became the first African-American classical instrumentalist to win first prize in the Naumburg International Piano Competition. This Angel/EMI recording artist last appeared on the CAP 2010 Summer Concert Series, where the press hailed his “larger-than-life keyboard virtuosity and showmanship…capable of the most fiendish pyrotechnics and subtle colors and shadings.”

Patron Tickets include a full wine and beverage bar with food tastings (including vegetarian) catered by Coral Gables’ finest restaurants.
