Abner H. Cooper died on March 30

     Abner H. Cooper was born January 1856, probably in Jefferson County, Florida. He was the son of Jonas Cooper and Kitty (maiden name unknown). Census records give the place of birth of these parents as North Carolina. He married Rosa (Rose) Anna Hunter on March 22, 1880, in Jefferson County, Florida. Her mother’s name, as listed on her death certificate, was K. Roberts. Her father’s name is not known. After that, he moved around and worked on land owned by other various farmers.
