Airman Rashad Porter, an aviation boatswain’s mate (fuels) from Miami, Fla. and 2010 graduate from American Senior High School, is serving on one of the world’s largest war-ships, the U.S. Navy air-craft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). USS Harry S. Truman is a Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier and one of only 10 operational aircraft carriers in the Navy today, protecting and defending America on the world’s oceans.
