LOUIS AMERICAN — Medicaid reimbursements for routine care at Planned Parenthood and similar clinics are once again permitted, allowing low-income patients to receive services in states that allow the payments. The one-year federal ban, which prevented Medicaid funding for non-abortion services like cancer screenings and birth control, expired because Congress did not renew it.
