  GENVAS is proud to open our 2025–2026 season with the First Annual Broward County LGBTQ+ History Festival — a two-day celebration of art, history, and community. Each and every Art Salon of the GENVAS 2025-2026 season is dedicated to showing up creating together & refusing silence through art music & community!

     In 2003, Bill doubled down on his longstanding appreciation of that work by establishing the Eyejammie Fine Arts Gallery devoted to hip-hop photography. In 2015, after the gallery’s closing, The Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of African American History and Culture acquired 400 Eyejammie photo prints by 59 different photographers.

The Taste History Art & Culture Study Tours held on Saturday; March 9, 2024 for Women’s History Month hosted the debutantes of the historic African American Frances J. Bright Woman’s Club (FJBWC). Throughout history, debutante programs have been and still are highly regarded by African Americans as excellent cultural experiences for high school girls.

     Established in 2004, Art, Beats and Lyrics (AB+L) has grown from an annual Atlanta art and music showcase into a traveling exhibition. Celebrating 15 years, AB+L made its way back to a southern hip-hop hub, Miami, during its nation-wide tour – bringing fusions of urban art and music to create a one-of-a-kind cultural experience to everyone from the seasoned art collector to the social media enthusiast.
