Under U.S. immigration law, the Secretary of Homeland Security is required to review TPS designations at least 60 days prior to their expiration to determine whether the original conditions that warranted the protection still exist. Following consultations with relevant government agencies, Secretary Noem concluded that Haiti no longer meets the statutory requirements for TPS.
