History provides unmistakable examples of megalomaniac figures such as Joseph Stalin, Muossilini, and Adolf Hitler. Each pursued imperial greatness at immense cost while sacrificing human life in service of grand ambition. Rather than strengthening society, their pursuits hollowed it from within.
