As part of his annual community outreach, he first treated a large group of students to a shopping event at Dick’s sporting goods at Dadeland mall. Then for his second event he selected five special local children to a back-to-school shopping spree at a Miami mall, giving them the opportunity to pick out new shoes, clothing, backpacks and other school essentials for the upcoming school year. For many of these children, it was an experience they had never had before.

The symptoms are evident in blatant acts of racism, public disrespect, and an alarming disregard for human dignity and decency; acts that are no longer whispered at the margins but boldly displayed in the public square.
